Does anyone have a Radiology Physician Assistant working in their Radiology Department? Does the hospital employ them or the Radiology group? Is this practice accepted by your state and who credentials them (state medical board)?

Pension Protection

Does the ERISA (Pension Protection Act) only apply to state and federal plans; or does it also govern individual employer pension plans  (or is there no protection  / guarantee the employer pension plan dollars will be there when retirement rolls around)?
Contracted Employees

If the hospital has a contracted service (e.g. inpatient dialysis), and there is a law suit related to a patient error by one of their employees that caused harm to a patient, does the hospital fall under respondent superior (not liable for their actions) or ostensible agency (liable)? In order not to be liable what is typically being done in your hospitals (for example, are name tags from their company enough; do you need to provide some type of notice to each patient on the contractual relationship; other appropriate safeguards)?
