Building a Hospital Workforce

More of a FYI, AHA News, 3/16/09, provides a good discussion on the "Board's guiding role in building and keeping a thriving hospital workforce" by incorporating human capital, or, "people measures", into the board's balanced scorecard.  Goal is to keep health, happiness, (and visibility) of their workforce at "top of their agenda."

Build a safe and pleasant work environments, all depend on to build a culture, the culture that reflect the work value and style, which leads by the working environment leaders. Every rules and restrictions are all build around for this work value and safety goal. I believe when the regiment comes, it either caused by lack of communication, or lack of well-defined management, the punishment should consider in a very cautious fashion. Otherwise, it will damage what we just built on….
