With the expected passing of the Free Choice Act at some point in 2009, who is expecting a significant increase in unionization within their HSO? What are you currently doing to educate your staff?

Do any of your organizations have a pay for performance type of evaluation system? If so, do you find it effective? What are the advantages or disadvantages of this system?

In the Human Resources section part one, slide 20 refers to the much debated subject of legislation for nurse staffing ratios. Is it correct that at this point only the State of California has legislated minimum nurse staffing ratios?
