Missed Questions
Posted by: Earl Abshier at 11:21AM EST on January 26, 2009
I recently took the exam for the 1st time and failed.  I studied the well managed textbook, the review questions on the ACHE website and the sample test on the website.  This did not prepare me enough for the exam.  If I study the same material again I am going to miss the same questions as before.  How can I get a copy of what questions I missed?

Approval time for registration
Posted by: Teresa at 10:12PM EST on January 25, 2009

Hi, I am planning on filling out my application for advancement and I see that I have to wait until I receive approval to schedule the exam. What is the typical turnaround time to get this approval to sign up at a Prometric location? I appreciate your insight.

Pat,

I know that overall there is a 70% pass/ 30% first failure rate for the BOG exam. What percent of people taking the BOG exam for the first time take this course to prepare for it? How does taking the course affect the odds of passing on the first attempt?

I am curious of what the meaning of CFO with "ad hoc team" means at the bottom of page 453 in the book. Does anyone work at a smaller facility with this kind of team? Is your team similar to the one in figure 11.12 ? I've never heard that word before. Please give me your opinions.

Review Study Questions
Posted by: Victor Stiebel at 11:27AM EST on January 7, 2009
Pat,

I see the study questions you are sending all have the disclaimer that they were developed by other students.  Are they representative of the actual exam in terms of level of difficulty, style, format, etc?

Thanks.
