Hello, My nickname is Libby, so that's what everyone calls me. I'm the Chief Dietitian of a small, rural hospital in Southeast Alaska that serves the Alaskan Native population. I have been working at the SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium off and on since 1989, and took breaks to purse college. I am Southeast Alaskan Native and have an ethnic background that comprises all 3 major Native groups from Southeast Alaska: Tlingit, Haida and Tsimpshian. I am married to a Hawaiian-Japanese man, and we have one 12 year-old son. We enjoy boating, fishing, gathering our local foods and dancing in a Native dance group in our free time.
